Alpha Chi Omega is devoted to raising awareness and funding to combat domestic violence. Since 1890, we have been dedicated to supporting women and making their voices heard. In Evanston, we partner with Mary Lou's Place, a trauma-informed emergency shelter that is open to both children and adults. The shelter provides clothing, a private room, and specialized workshops to cater to each family's specific needs.  In the greater Chicago area, Alpha Chi Omega is also proud to support survivors of sexual assault, and we have worked with Greenlight Counseling to provide free therapy services.  With Shredding Hunger, we are excited to fulfill our mission of supporting vulnerable communities, assisting both Mary Lou's Place and additional food banks in the Evanston area.
